Hurst Publishers is always on the look out to appoint highly literate interns, provided applicants are willing to work with the company for a minimum of one month. The posts are unpaid though expenses to cover travel and lunch are offered.
Hurst is a small company so the successful applicant will be expected to muck in with all aspects of the job, from marketing to answering the phone and helping with editorial tasks and office administration.
Familiarity with InDesign, FileMaker and website updating is especially
welcome, and Hurst uses only Apple Mac computers.
Please note: only applications sent via email, to Michael Dwyer
(
hurst@atlas.co.uk), will be considered.
CV attachments should be in Word format.
Freelance editorial enquiries should be directed to Maria Petalidou (
maria@hurstpub.co.uk). Please include your CV and a list of other publishers for whom you have worked.
